Rubin is a five year old Imported pure Shagya stallion. He is currently in Dressage training with Sue Eoff in southern California. Rubin's pedigree is a "who's who" of European Shagya champions. His sire, Paris (Gazal XIX - Babolna) stood at Babolna for several years. Over the course of his career he competed to level "M", and earned his "Elite" status. Paris' sire is Bartok and he is out of the Elite mare, Pamina. Rubin's dam, Rasga, carries the rare Dahoman bloodlines. The Dahoman family is noted for their toughness and endurance. The 2005 World Endurance Champion, Georgat (a Shagya/Arabian cross) also descends from the famed Dahoman bloodlines. Rubin’s first foals arrive this year and he is offered at public stud. Due to his training commitments he will only be available via frozen semen this year.
